I’m a geographer and teacher by training, originally from Switzerland but I live the rural life near Ottawa now with my husband and two kids, and a small menagerie of animals. I learned to sew in primary school and started quilting while at Uni, but didn’t really find my ‘voice’ until I discovered the Modern Quilting movement a few years ago. Writing patterns happened quite by accident, although I’ve designed most of the quilts I’ve made to date. I love the design process and the teacher side of me enjoys putting it into a format others can use.

I’m a member of my local modern quilt guild, and have had a few patterns published in Make Modern magazine.
